WILLS & PROBATE
Let an attorney assist you in identifying, clarifying, and planning your last wishes. We draft wills, trusts, and powers of attorney. We handle administration of estates in probate proceedings in the Big Bend Area, and offer assistance for family members to navigate court processes efficiently and productively.
Family law is a legal practice area that focuses on issues involving family relationships, such as adoption, divorce, and child custody, among others. Attorneys practicing family law can represent clients in family court proceedings or in related negotiations and can also draft important legal documents such as court petitions or property agreements.
Most property disputes can be resolved without an attorney. Unfortunately, there are disputes that require the assistance of a professional to navigate the legal world of property disputes.

Wills & Trust
Jennifer LaVia has been a lawyer for over thirty years. For the first seven years she was a civil trial lawyer, spending a lot of time in courtrooms all over Florida. With help from Legal Services of North Florida, she started a free legal clinic at The Shelter in Tallahassee. She spent three years as Director of the Veterans Legal Clinic at FSU Law, during which time she saw a gap in the availability of legal services. A lot of people cannot get experienced lawyers because they are not poor enough to qualify for free legal services or not rich enough to pay full price. LaVia Law was born to help fill that gap. We provide “low bono” representation at affordable prices. We have an innovative approach to representation, utilizing all of today’s technologies to help keep firm costs low.
Lily is a graduate of Florida State University College of Law and was sworn into the Florida Bar in 2021. Lily spent her law school career as a member of Law Review and working in the family law field. She was also active in FSU Law’s Public Interest Law Center, providing pro bono legal services to the community. At the Public Interest Law Center, she received the Spring 2020 Children’s Advocacy Clinic Book Award and the 2020-2021 Advocate on the Rise Award. Lily is excited to join the LaVia Law family and to help fill the need for low bono legal services.
